Meet Kenny Bob Tapp
My name is Kenny Bob Tapp. I have filed for the office of State Representative
for House District 61 in Oklahoma City on Friday April, 10th.
Along with my Dad, Family, wife Rachel and our 3 year old daughter, I work on our Oklahoma Panhandle Ranch in North Cimarron County. As a 4th generation Oklahoma Panhandle Rancher, I have deep ties to our area and strong roots in our way of life.
For well over a decade, I have travelled locally and to OKC as a citizen activist working with others on a host of issues such as property rights, personal healthcare freedom (opposing the implementation of Obama Care In OK), local control in education (joining parents and educators in efforts to defeat Common Core), and recently championing efforts along with thousands of Oklahomans to abolish abortion. As a Conservative Republican, I served Cimarron County Republicans as Republican County Chair for 4 years, assisting in increased growth in Republican registration and I also had the opportunity to represent Oklahoma Republicans at the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida.
I decided to run because the majority of state legislators are unwilling to perform their basic duties, which are to defend Life and Liberty.
Most importantly, I hold on to my personal relationship with God which emboldens by belief that rights are granted by our Creator and do not come from the government which is simply instituted to defend those rights.
With uncertain times, such as Covid-19 and the economic crisis, it is too easy for government to swoop in with their one-size-fits-all solutions that will further the erosion of our God-given rights. Just like President Trump recognizes the Deep State control in D.C., I am very much aware of the Deep State in OKC and I will take the gloves off.
As Ronald Reagan once stated, “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.”
